The resources are classified by subject and grade level. Assistance is available in finding activities that will closely relate to the concepts and skills being taught. All resource items are checked out with the Educational Materials Head before they are taken to the classroom. The registered user is responsible for the care and completeness of the materials and should return items with the bar coded label. Workspaces are available for teachers to prepare for class. Users come prepared with the needed supplies for working and maintaining order and cleanliness in the provided spaces. There is also a separate lounge area where teachers can have a snack or lunch. |

|
Integration of technology is achieved when students are able to appropriately select technology tools to help them obtain information in a timely manner, analyze and synthesize the information, and present it effectively. The technology should become and integral part of how the classroom functions- as accessible as all other classroom tools. |

Technology is also present in our library. It has an automated circulation system designed specifically for school libraries. Four computer stations are available to access research resources such as electronic encyclopedias and periodicals, Internet, and our library catalogue system. Library computers are used exclusively for research purposes. Groups are scheduled to visit the library every week. At the Elementary level, the librarian and teachers alternately organize classes in library research skills and author studies. Middle School teachers plan research activities and special projects related to the different subject areas. Books may be checked out for a two-week period and may be renewed. A fine is charged per day if the book is not returned on the due date. Students are responsible for lost or damaged library materials. Teachers are able to check 20 books out of the library at one time. They may be returned at the end of the school year or whenever they are no longer being used. Teachers are responsible for the care and use of these materials. In using the library facilities: |
